PCS ARSAT (Mir-67) is a special lens for specific tasks in photography, the main feature of which is the ability to shift and rotate the optical axis. The lens name contains the letters "PCS" and means "Perspective Correction Shift" - Perspective Bias Correction , in the Russian lens name this is called “PCS”.
Nowadays such lenses are usually simply called -"Tilt/Shift".

Multi-coated 80mm and 35mm compact tilt/shift lens features a high-quality, precision CANON-type T&S mechanism. The 11mm shift, 8mm tilt and 360° rotation capabilities allow you to correct perspective distortions commonly required in indoor and outdoor architectural, landscape and product photography. The effects possible with large format tracking shots can be achieved with these TS Lenses can now also be achieved for 35mm cameras.
The outstanding multi-coated optics of this lens enable you to take sharp, high-contrast and true-color images. Of course, it has manual aperture control.
The lens can be shifted 11 mm from its normal position.
The switching direction can be rotated 360° and locked in 12 angular positions.

You can use this lens on any 35mm digital or film camera including full frame DSLR. The lens had Canon, Minolta, Pentax
and other cameras no problems with twisting and turning in any direction.

Such lenses are indispensable for accurate transmission of perspective without any distortion, and in some cases they cannot be replaced with conventional wide-angle post-processing.
  • Correct perspective distortions when shooting architecture and interior.
  • Unnecessary objects that are between the photographer and the subject can be excluded from the frame.
  • Fight reflections. At different angles of reflection, they will have different intensities, or they will not be at all.
